Verses, Old and New

Some of the most beautiful scripture passages are found first in the Old Testament and then repeated in the New Testament.  Here is one that I encountered today:

Old Testament:
"...he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound..." (Isaiah 61:1)

New Testament:
"... he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised..."  (Luke 4:18)

TV~   (Today's Verse)

Even so, come, Lord Jesus.  [Revelation 22:20b]
